Comprehensive Collision Insurance
Together we take care of your car, whether it is insured with traditional comprehensive collision insurance or with Ökuvísir comprehensive collision insurance.
More about Comprehensive Collision Insurance
- When you purchase a comprehensive collision insurance, you choose your own deductible. This is the amount you pay if you incur damage. We cover the cost of the damage that exceeds your chosen deductible. The higher deductible you choose, the lower the premium you pay for the insurance. Our customers commonly select deductibles in the range of ISK 106.900 to ISK 156.800.
- Your deductible amount is the same for all damages covered by the comprehensive collision insurance.
- Comprehensive collision insurance is valid in Iceland and while travelling within the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland for up to 92 days from the departure date. If your trip exceeds 92 days, you can extend the coverage for an additional fee.
