More About Cat Care Insurance
- Period of purchase: From the time that the cat is 8 weeks old.
- Insurance amount: The insurance amount of Cat Care Insurance is a fixed amount which is stated on the quote, the insurance policy and the renewal receipt.
- Duration: Can be valid throughout the life of the cat, but the compensation period is a maximum of 60 days during each insurance period.
The insurance covers
- The cost of placement and care of a cat in an animal hotel or similar facility if you or members of your household suffer an injury or illness that is so serious that you cannot care for the cat.
The insurance does not cover
- Costs due to pre-existing diseases or accidents that occurred before the insurance took effect.
- Costs due to a chronic illness of someone in the family.
- Costs due to incidents related to pregnancy or birth.
- Costs due to an illness that can be traced to the abuse of alcohol, drugs or self-injury.
- Costs due to allergies of family members to the cat.
