The VÍS loyalty program

VÍS customers are automatically enrolled in the VÍS loyalty program and receive a loyalty score based on the number of insurance policies, length of the business relationship, and number of claims. The loyalty score is expressed in points, and the number of points determines which loyalty tier you belong to and what benefits are available to you. You can purchase all insurance policies with loyalty benefits except Ökuvísir, life and illness insurance, and short-term insurance.

VÍS customers who have home insurance and an active card with Íslands­banki go directly into the diamond loyalty tier in the VÍS loyalty program and at least into the “Mountain” tier in Íslands­banki’s loyalty service.

You can find our loyalty program in the VÍS app, where you can also acti­vate discounts with our partners and order gifts in the app.

How does the loyalty program work?

Insurance benefits

Loyalty benefits increase progressively with each tier. Copper is the lowest tier and offers no benefits. Bronze provides a 5% discount; Silver provides a 10% discount; Gold provides a 15% discount; and Diamond provides a 20% discount.

Partner benefits

In the VÍS app, you can find various discounts from our partners, both on products and services. These benefits may vary depending on your loyalty tier.

Your business matters to us

The loyalty program recognises that loyal customers can still have claims from time to time. Therefore, we do not require a claim‑free record for you to keep your current loyalty benefits

Íslandsbanki loyalty service and VÍS diamond benefits

VÍS customers who have home insurance including family and leisure accident insurance, and an active card with Íslandsbanki, receive 25 points in Íslandsbanki’s loyalty service and diamond-tier insurance benefits with VÍS.
