- We are often asked about the difference between Home Contents Insurance and Comprehensive Home Contents Insurance. In short, Contents Insurance covers damage to your household items due to theft, fire and water, while Comprehensive Contents Insurance covers various accidents that result in damage to your home contents.
- The most common claims paid under our Comprehensive Contents Insurance concern damage to mobile phones, computers and glasses.
- If you suffer damage that is covered under the Contents Insurance, compensation cannot be claimed under the Comprehensive Contents Insurance, even if full compensation is not paid from the Contents Insurance.
Comprehensive Home Contents Insurance is included in F Plus 4 and optional in F Plus 1, 2 and 3. There is a difference between the compensation amounts, deductible amounts and the extent of the protection depending on which F Plus package you choose.
The insurance covers
- Damage to contents due to sudden, unforeseen and external events.
The insurance does not cover
- Damage to contents due to normal wear and tear and appearance defects that do not affect the use of the item.
- Damage to contents that can be attributed to defects, incorrect assembly or internal malfunctions.
- Damage to contents due to sudden changes in temperature or humidity.
- Damage to contents due to mould.
- Damage to contents due to theft.
- Damage to contents, caused by animals.
- The part of the claim that falls under the deductible.
