It may occur that the insured and/or the policyholder and VÍS do not agree on whether a loss should be compensated or not.

If the party concerned does not accept VÍS’s grounds for denying compensation or a decision on the allocation of fault, the matter may be referred to the Claims Comm­ittee of the Insurance Comp­anies, the Insurance Complaints Comm­ittee, or the courts.
