Right to a rental car

Your right to a rental car depends, among other things, on which motor insurance coverages you have and who was responsible for the loss you suff­ered. In addition, the right to a rental car under a comprehensive coll­ision insurance is subject to you being in a loyalty tier higher than Copper in the VÍS loyalty program, that is in Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Diamond.

If you are entitled to a rental car, you should keep the following in mind:

• The repair shop can often arrange a rental car for you when the vehicle is brought in for repairs, but you can also make the booking your­self.

• Use is based on a maximum of 100 km per day.

• A kilometer fee is charged on the use of all vehic­les. When using a rental car, you may have to pay a specific kilometer fee, regar­dless of whether VÍS pays for the rental car in conn­ection with the loss.
