Machine and electronic equip­ment insurance

Machines and electronic equip­ment are insured a er they have been fully installed and are ready for use. The insurance covers the equip­ment itself, but not compon­ents that are replaced as part of regular main­ten­ance.

The insurance covers

  • Damage resulting from soot, over­heating, scorching, and melting without a fire breaking out.

  • Damage resulting from short circuits.

  • Damage resulting from vandal­ism.

  • Damage resulting from careless hand­ling by empl­oyees or customers.

  • Damage resulting from water or liquid that spills or leaks onto the equip­ment.

  • Damage resulting from accidental operati­onal mishaps.

The insurance does not cover

  • Damage caused by fire.

  • Damage covered by the sell­er's or manufact­ur­er's liability under law or contract.

  • Damage due to rust, corrosion, or wear due to normal use.

  • Damage due to defects or incor­rect assembly.

  • Damage due to theft or burglary.
