Group life insurance

Group life insurance is a life insurance that comp­anies can purchase for their empl­oyees. The insurance is valid for an empl­oyee while they are empl­oyed by the comp­any.

The insurance amount is predeterm­ined and paid to the beneficiary if the insured passes away, wether the cause is an accident or illness.

Life insurance benefits are paid out in a lump sum to a spouse or legal heirs and are tax-free and tied to inflation.

The insurance covers

  • Compensation paid to the beneficiary due to the death of the insured.

The insurance does not cover

  • If the policyholder commits suicide within one year of the insurance taking effect.
