- The insurance covers damage caused by internal breakdowns of electronic devices less than 4 years old.
- Electronic devices generally come with a 2-year warranty from the seller, so this insurance provides you with a 2-year coverage period beyond what is generally offered.
- The electronic devices must belong to the general household and be stored in the home.
Electronic Breakdown Insurance is included in our F Plus 4 package.
The insurance covers
- Damage caused by internal breakdowns of electronic devices less than 4 years old.
The insurance does not cover
- Damage to mobile phones, power tools, electric toys and their accessories.
- Damage to electronic devices caused by changes in temperature and/or humidity.
- Damage to electronic devices that can be attributed to normal wear and tear due to use, rust or corrosion.
- Damage to electronic devices due to voltage change that can be attributed to a breakdown of mains electricity supply.
- Damage to electronic devices for which the manufacturer, seller, repairer or carrier is responsible under contract or law.
- The part of the claim that falls under the deductable.
